Is there anywhere else other than swimshop uk, that we can purchase 30″ 32″ uglies costumes, it is nigh on impossible to purchase them swim suits in uk?
You can buy them on other websites, however I recommend swimshop.
If you are going to buy an uglies costume, if you wait a week or two the new range will be coming out!!
Check this website or swimshop to see the new costumes that will be coming very soon!
Good afternoon, I just wanted to know if you have stroke clinics and if so what area’s do you cover. My swimming is ok but I know that my technique requires improvement. I also know that if i had the correct stroke i would not need to do some many stroke to get to the end of a 33 meter pool. Can you please help
Sorry I don’t do any stroke clinics. I have been to some stroke clincis myself, and fully recommend Nick Gillingham’s art of butterfy/breaststroke/starts and turns course. If you want to find out any thing about his courses they are on my website, click here: http://247swim.com/category/nick-gillingham/
I have been to all 3 of his clinics and they have helped me a lot…
I also have a youtube channel- swimglows. I post swimming tips and will be posting more soon. Feel free to check out my channel.
I’m from Glasgow University and currently doing a genetic study in elite swim status. Wondering if I could ask a question regarding the classification of swim events? Thanks in advance.
Is it reasonable to consider a swimmer as a 50m swimmer if he/she got the best results from the 50m event than from 800/1500 event in the competitions (ie. olympic games)? As in our study, we’d like to split the swimmers (<=400m) to short-distance (50/100m) and middle-distance (200-400m) groups to look for genes that predispostion to swim status. But the classification from our collaborator made me confused as described above for the 50m swimmer.
I don't know much about swim. For me, a swimmer can delegate to different events, such as 100, 200 or 400m, in the competitions; but not jump from 50/100m to 800/1500m? Your opinions are much appreciated.

Hi Liz,
Thank you for your comment / question regarding uglies swimsuits
The best place to buy uglies is the swimshop: http://www.swimshop.co.uk/shop-uglies/
We are both 5 foot 3 inches and size 8 to 10 and both wear size 30 unglies in swim costumes and drag shorts.
Size 30 is tight when first worn but after 5 or 6 uses a perfect fit.
We have tried size 32 but after 3 weeks it was too baggy for them.
Maru seem to make their swimsuit a little smaller then uglies.

how are you?
Can I link to this post please?
Comment by Motorcycle Fairing— December 2, 2010 #
I am fine thanks.
Can I ask you not to ‘link’ this post or copy it at all.
This website has took a lot of hard work and I will feel extremely down-hearted and upset if someone copied all our information.
From Holly
P.S. Thanks for asking and not doing it any way. But I would not like you to do so….

Hi, Is it still possible to order the styles Papillon and Gypsy Rose? I may not swim well, but I do have fun wearing many of your different patterns.
Thank you,
Cindy
