How to Put a swimming cap on:

Putting your swimming cap on can be simple, but in order to keep your hair as chlorine free as possible, decrease the chance of splitting or tearing your hat, and reduce the chance of your swimming cap falling off during a race or your training session.

TIP 1: When you are putting your hands in the cap make sure your fingers nails are not pressing on the silicone/latex cap material. This may resort in the cap ripping.

TIP 2: When your cap/hat is on make sure you get rid of any air bubles by pushing them out with your hand.

TIP 3: Pull the cap over your head in a dome shape. Do not stretch the cap/hat too much or it will rip.  Look at this picture and see how the hat is being stretched too much:

TIP 4: If your hat keeps slipping off your head then try washing it out. Use soap and water on the inside of the hat. If it continues to fall off then you need to try another cap because the other one may not of fitted your heat properly.

Here is my Youtube tutorial on how to put a swimming cap on if you have long hair.
